1. Etika,

bagi seseorang atau sekelompok orang dalam mengatur tingkah lakunya.
2. Etika, juga berarti kumpulan asas atau nilai
moral. Yang dimaksud adalah kode etik.
3. Etika
mempunyai arti: ilmu tentang apa itu yang baik atau yang buruk. Etika baru
menjadi ilmu, bila kemungkinan etis (asas dan nilai tentang yang baik dan
buruk) begitu saja diterima dalam suatu masyarakat-sering kali tanpa
disadari-menjadi bahan refleksi bagi suatu penelitian sistematis dan metodis.
Etika di sini sama artinya dengan filsafat moral.
